World Beat is one of 2BOB's flagship programs that has been filling the Manning Valley with world music weekly across the airwaves, for almost as long as the station has been broadcasting.
Conceived in the late 80's by Rick Heritage, now presenting his musical stylings for 4EB and 4ZZZ in Brisbane, it was Ricks vast knowledge of World Music second to none in Australia, that provided the very strong basis for the program  that has become a mainstay on the 2bob airwaves.  
With a world of cultures all with unique sounds, World Beat will help you explore the musical planet and guide those rhythms straight into your living room or wherever you are. 
Rick Heritage is back on the 2bob airwaves for 2025  presenting edited highlights of his 4ZZZ program, alternating Saturday afternoons with our other long time presenter of World Beat, Rob Meaton.
