2BOB'S AM MUSIC FEATURE ALBUMS
Daily at around 10.05 am

2BOBs MUSIC POLICY

Picture
2BOB Radio's broadcast licence was approved on the basis of an application that gave an undertaking to play new, independent and alternative music. 2BOB works in collaboration with the Australian Music Radio Airplay Project (Amrap) and the Australasian Performing Right  Association (APRA) to provide listeners with a musical feast of the best new music from leading Australian and international musical artists, with a dedicated interest in independent and alternative musicians.

The station promotes new Australian music, and is committed to playing at least 40 per cent Australian music in all its English-language live program broadcasts. 2BOB actively encourages and supports local musical artists from the Manning Valley and throughout the Mid-North Coast by  playing local artist tracks at dedicated times in programs throughout each day.

2BOB Radio seeks to satisfy wide musical tastes by playing a diverse range of music by Australian and overseas artists, including blues, jazz, reggae, rock'n'roll, hip hop, indie, country, folk, indigenous, electronic, jazz, vintage, and much more.

In any 24-hour period, we aim to play 75 per cent of music released within the last six months. CDs in our main studio include 40 new-release albums featured in an evolving collection called The Hot Lot, plus 10 Amrap albums, 10 Totally Female albums, as well as the Feature Albums of the Week.
