Taree’s 19th Annual Envirofair at Taree Park

What is Envirofair?

Envirofair is a one day festival celebrating our environment and living in harmony with the earth. The day includes interesting talks, stalls, information, entertainment and wholesome food for the whole family.

Envirofair is a fun family day to:

  • Learn to further minimize your impact on the environment
  • Indulge your mind, body and spirit
  • Participate in hands-on workshops

Envirofair has talks, displays, demonstrations as well as market stalls. Envirofair promotes environmental businesses, homegrown produce and organic food, homemade craft, alternative/complimentary therapies, and local art and music.

In previous years, guest speakers have presented information on topics such as landscaping, global warming, alternative energy, and other relevant issues. (An updated program will be available shortly, so please check back soon!)

In previous years, the following types stall holders have attended Envirofair:

  • Organic gardening
  • Solar energy
  • Alternative energies
  • Recycled products
  • Health
  • Water
  • Organic produce
  • Healthy foods
  • Waste and energy management
  • Ethanol Fuel Production
  • Government and Non-Profit bodies, including National Parks & Wildlife, FAWNA, River Care, Greater Taree City Council, Australian Breastfeeding Association, Indian Myna Bird Project, and Manning Valley Neighbourhood Services

Who Organises Envirofair?

Envirofair is organised by 2Bob Community Radio and a band of persistent volunteers. If you are interested in becoming involved, we are looking for people who can help organise the event or assist us on the day. For more information on volunteering, contact us.

10am – 4pm
Saturday, 12th June 2010

Envirofair is held next to the 2Bob Radio station building at Taree Park (Johnny Martin Oval), corner Wynter and Macquarie Streets.
